    Tuning Air turbulence

Tore my .22 cal Caiman X down for a good cleaning & checking things over. I found that the transfer port (in the receiver) is threaded. I assume for a restrictor. Question is can the threads in the transfer port cause turbulence that could affect the performance of the gun? Right now it’s tuned...

Full gun to 3000 & start shooting over chrony. Adjust hammer spring till I hit the highest fps & back off the...

    Yong Heng Question

I recently had one of the 2nd stage piston seals go out. Replaced it & now it will build pressure to around 3500psi then start loosing pressure. Can’t find a leak when it running. But it also sound like it’s in a bind starting around 3300psi, then at 3500psi it stars loosing pressure. Any ideas...

    Tuning Plenum Volume

In the search for answers to figure out how to degas my Caiman X I came across a YouTube video of the Caiman(shorter version) being disassembled. During the disassembling I noticed that the guy removed a vinyl piece out of the plenum. The only thing I could think of is to reduce the plenum...

    Tuning Please help!!!

I think I screwed up!!! I wanted to lower my reg pressure on the Caiman X trying to get it down to 20fpe from 32fpe. I found AVS video where he tuned the Kraton. He said 1 turn should drop the pressure around 30bar. Which is where I think it should be. I believe it’s around 110bar normal. Anyway...

Could someone maybe explain why the shot on the Caiman X in AEAC video has a slightly descending shot string?? I thought that was the purpose of the regulator. Caiman X valve

I just watched a video of the X being taken apart. It was in Arabic I believe so I couldn’t understand it. But there was a piece inside the valve body, it looked like a piece of clear plastic. I was wondering what it was for. The only thing I could think of is to take up plenum volume, but if...
