You should go with a first focal plane scope. Much easier to operate imo. There are good quality scopes for under 500 bugs

I've tried 6.5 and 8.5 grams for the hammer.

Yeah of course I started at a much lower reg pressure and worked my way up. The gun isn't capable of achieving that power...not with a 700mm barrel.

Maybe with the 800mm barrel length it would work. Saw the guys from south Africa doing it so I gave it a shot with only the 700mm. Well I'll stick to the lighter slug. Gives you the best out of both worlds anyways. Shot count and energy.

Hi, I have stipped the hammer adjuster screw (C9), maybe also the threads on the adjuster(C10) are damaged aswell. So I want to disassemble it. First the power wheel came off. After that removed the C9. Underneath C9 is a Allen screw (C11). I believe it's a 2,5mm. I guess when loosing it the C10...

Thats too bad. Better make your own sear out of quality steel and heat treatment. Ive heard that in other countries Hatsan puts a thicker valve pin in the guns to limit air flow. That could be the limiting factor there. 

Are we talking about the 3 piece hammer sear or that screw next to the valve grub screwes? Ive ordered the version where the sear in one piece.

Yea the finish on the hammer is bad. The HDD issue is well known. Im waiting for reply when they are back in stock (AT44 version). I need to call Hatsan and ask them about this mystery. Or is it possible that the valve doesnt let the whole amount of air through? Ive checked the valve...looks ok...
