    Diana Trail Scout/Mrod Air Max Plinkster/SPA CR600W

That's a slick-looking gun! Never heard of it before! I'll give him a call and talk with him about it. Thanks for the tip!

    Diana Trail Scout/Mrod Air Max Plinkster/SPA CR600W

Yeah I've already talked with Mike at TKO...he's got a moderator option ready to roll already. Don't really care weather about the number of cartridges pierced at at time, but I do care about the stock. I hate synthetic stocks and would love a wood stock. Unfortunately the MRod version is out of...

Do you have the Trail Scout version?

    Diana Trail Scout/Mrod Air Max Plinkster/SPA CR600W

That’s a ton of good info but likely more involved than I can handle...I’m good for disassembly and swapping o rings but some of the other steps are beyond me. Rats! I was hoping I’d come across a quiet CO2 rifle on the cheap. Know of any other tricks to quiet it down? Does the Mrod model have...

    Diana Trail Scout/Mrod Air Max Plinkster/SPA CR600W

Where could I find these o-rings? And from the box what is unnecessarily loud? Right now my Springer sounds like a 22 short....

    Diana Trail Scout/Mrod Air Max Plinkster/SPA CR600W

Hey, I’m planning to buy this rifle (probably the Mrod version because it has the wood stock). Does anyone know if the moderator on this rifle does an adequate job? I’ve heard that the Diana version sounds like a “pfffft” and have heard mixed reports on the report of the Mrod version (see what...

Need a Quiet PCP with Iron Sights

I like that idea! What kind of rail adapter did you find to work with that?

Will add them to my list. Is Pyramyd Air a good place to buy from?

Need a Quiet PCP with Iron Sights

Good tip...another question...besides an assortment of pellets, what else should I buy to get started in terms of cleaning and lubrication?

Need a Quiet PCP with Iron Sights

I'm not a big fan of moderators or LDCs or whatever folks call them. Seems like it's asking for trouble. Otherwise I love the Maximus rig! Will need to do some reading on moderators. Seems legally fishy to me.

Dallas, you know of anyone who has posted photos of this process?

Fivestar, I'd be interested in adding a front sight if I could find someone who's done it successfully.

Need a Quiet PCP with Iron Sights

Dallas, thanks for the info! Sounds like a Stormrider will be what we go with for an entry-level purchase. I imagine that if my boy masters irons we'll eventually move up to a Benjamine Fortitude. Looks like a solid rig. If I cut springs on the Diana, are there replacement springs out there to...

Dallas, help me out with the term "detune." Sorry, pretty new to the game.

Fatmike, does the Liberty actually have baffles in the shroud, or is it just a hollow tube there on the end? The Fortitude is real tempting because I know it would definitely be quiet enough.

Need a Quiet PCP with Iron Sights

Is your experience with a Generation 1 or Generation 2 Stormrider? And BandG, you're right, it's pretty subjective. Right now I'm using a break-barrel Ruger Blackhawk and it is stupid loud. Pretty sure it's breaking the sound barrier. Have to shoot from indoors and a yard back from the window...

Need a Quiet PCP with Iron Sights

Hey there, I'm brand new to the PCP game. I need some help figuring out what kind of rig to get. Here are my requirements: 1) Budget is $300-$500 2) It needs iron sights so I can train my boys on how to properly handle firearms 3) It's got to be really quiet. 4) I need to still have room in...
