With the USD gaining 20% and 30% on the GBP and the EUR from a year ago, seems to be worth to pick up some airgun things cheaper from Europe? For example, the FX Maverick Sniper is USD1800 at Utah Airguns, but EUR1320 (USD1275) at Krale (shipping excluded) and GBP1400-1500 (USD1481-1587).

A few years ago most moderators (that were made by small shops) were carbon fiber. Then everybody switched to aluminum. Is it because of easier machining? More durable? Less cost? Better availability of machines or material?
