Carbon Fiber tubing for FX Impact liner and shroud mods.

No, the OD of the .22 and .25 liners are different, but the ID of the barrel housings are the same. So the carbon fiber liner sleeves are different thickness but same OD to fill the space in the barrel housing. To change calibers you would need to change the mag, pellet probe, liner, carbon...

    Huben Question about safety issue

I think only thing that could be done besides the above suggestions would be to manually push out any remaining pellets from the mag and/ or case the gun. A range officer shouldn’t have any issue if the gun is cased and removed from the firing line.

Taipan Need to Tame my Taipan

Taipan Vet 1 from the factory seems to have regulator set a bit high in relation to HST. So when you turn HST even lower it gets even more out of balance and yields poor accuracy. Like CTairgunner said, I would try lowering reg pressure a bit and then retuning.

    Yong Heng trip breaker question

@KerrShoot more than likely it’s the extension cord you are using. The wire gauge is too small for the amperage. If you are using a 20amp circuit, you should get an extension cord with at least 12gauge wire. They cost a little more than thinner wire extensions but it’s safer and may fix...

    PP750 in 2023

Thanks bigHUN! Now I remember seeing your thread with the CAD drawings of this plenum. It’s an ingenious design. I haven’t even began to test the max power as I need a heavier hammer spring and longer barrel, but with your plenum the potential is there. Getting back to Tangodown’s question...

    PP750 in 2023

I like how you kept it simple and light. That’s some nice wood on there. I was looking for a tiny scope like that to mount. It’s a fun little platform. Perfect for small backyard. I may need to get me a Notos so I don’t have to keep reconfiguring it between pistol and carbine.

    PP750 in 2023

It’s a plenum I bought from Wes at Airgunarcheryfun. It’s the second iteration, which is longer than the first. I think Vlada1911 above my post has the first version.

    PP750 in 2023

This is mine in pistol form. JSB 18.1 grain at 600 FPS gets me about 40 shots. It’s a decent pistol. If you like to tinker and tune, you’ll spend a lot of time tweaking it to suit your needs. The trigger is not great, and there’s only so much you can do to make it better, but I can live with...

    Huben Huben issue

Have you tried playing with the two trigger adjustment screws in the rear of the action?I think your problem may be that the increased weight of the mag with the heavier slugs makes it harder for the air to advance the mag after each shot. After a few shots it gets stuck between cylinders and...

    Huben GK1 magnetic gate fail

That aluminum gate looks awesome! Just wanted to add, maybe you could integrate a little nub on the bottom and it could also be a pellet seater so you have the tool onboard.

FX Installed a Huma 1st Stage Reg on Impact M3, now it won't degass. Any Ideas?

I’m sure others will be able to explain better but my guess is it has to do with that floating delrin disc between the set screw and piston. Without tank pressure to overcome the plenum pressure it stays sealed. My reg otherwise works as it should.

FX Installed a Huma 1st Stage Reg on Impact M3, now it won't degass. Any Ideas?

I have an impact mk2. My Huma reg won’t degas either. You can slightly unscrew your reg gauge until you hear it hiss and then let it bleed out to zero. Just inspect the X-ring under the gauge after it’s empty. Make sure it’s seated properly and lubed, and just hand tighten the gauge. Don’t...

    Pellet pouch for shooting afield.

I’ve been looking for something similar. Rides on belt, easy one hand pellet retrieval, silent, pellets don’t fall out. Check out these dog treat pouches for a cheap option. Navaris Silicone Dog Treat Pouches (Set of 2) - Dog Treat Pouch Holder Bag with Clip for Training, Treats, Leash -...

    Gk1 vs Evan viper.

I’m going with GK1. Same tried and true action as Huben K1. 350 BAR max fill vs 200, which means more shots with such small pistol air tubes, if you have a compressor that can go that high. Not to mention, GK1 has a lot more power.

Adding a bit longer air cylinder to PP750

I have a PP750 and an Artemis P15. The air tubes are the same diameter and i think same thread size at the block. The P15 tube is much longer and may be exactly what you need…if you can get ahold of a spare.

Huben K1 barrel cleaner (edit: works for .22 and .25)

That’s a clever idea! I been trying to figure out a way to do this without pushing the muck back into the action as I clean from the muzzle

Filling Omega tank with HP3 valve

my Yong Heng doesn’t have the auto shut off but I can see how that can cause an issue. My fill whip is also connected to filters before the tank so the pressure isn’t skyrocketing super fast either. My HP3 has two gauges. The small gauge will always show tank pressure and the big gauge show...

Filling Omega tank with HP3 valve

I have the omega tank with HP3. It has no check valve, like Scotty1 said. I simply start the compressor then bring the line pressure up slightly higher than the tank pressure before opening the valve.

    dumb question on air pumping

Having young kids, I sometimes shoot after they’ve went to bed. When refilling my gun from my SCBA, I used to try being quiet by bleeding the line slowly…til one time I lost half of my fresh fill on my Impact doing this. The incoming air had held the one way valve open while I bled the line...

Huben K1 - riddle me this?

I think you are over adjusting the reg. Sometimes you adjust the reg down and it doesn’t bleed off until it’s over adjusted and so you have to bring back up slightly and re settle it. I thought my reg was leaking at first too, but then I realized sometimes it takes hours to see the change and...
