    HW/Weihrauch HW 30

The nice thing about the PG4 is that you're usually pushing 8.5ftlbs with it while still being very tame. I think the factory tune on the 30 is closer to 7ftlbs. The extra oomph is definitely nice but isn't always necessary

N/A When the cat is away, the mice will plink away

I really like this one too. It has a lot of character without being too over the top

    HW/Weihrauch HW 30

If you want tinker free then a HW30S with a pre-installed PG4 is definitely the way to go. I can't speak for the Urban Pro but my standard 30S with an HW moderator on it was laughably quiet which is saying something because the 30S by itself is already very quiet

N/A When the cat is away, the mice will plink away

Pretty darn good from an awkward standing support. This one is tuned down to 16ftlbs and is already putting everything under a quarter (with most of them under a dime) at 25yds. After this one completely settles in its going to be a really sweet shooter

    Its a .22 Cometa 400 USC Premier

If he does I'll just tell him he shouldn't be browsing AGN while working

Foot Lbs verses roof damage ?s

That's what I would do. Get a few pieces of roof and see what happens. People can sit here and speculate all they want but nothing beats hard data

Whats the longest shot youve ever taken and with which airgun

What you're saying is that you can in fact hit the broad side of a barn? Impressive sir

Whats the longest shot youve ever taken and with which airgun

My FWB 300 was my proudest shot. I took a squirrel with it at about 50yds. That gun is like 6fpe I think. I’ve taken other squirrels with most my full 12fpe guns at 55yds. Typically I try to stay inside 40 though

Its Friday, the boss is off, parts delivery is slow, the pellets are flyin' until they get here

What are some great gas rams?

Play with the ram pressure. Those two guns should be pretty equally matched

What are some great gas rams?

No they aren't that fancy unfortunately but you can get them in 17/18ftlb or a 12ftlb variant. I've been playing around with the full power version and I'm impressed so far with how they feel amd sound. I imagine the 12ftlb ones are going to be a dream. Replacement rams are dirt cheap to boot

What are some great gas rams?

The more time I spend with the ASP the more I realize that at its price point, it was an absolute gift that Sig briefly gave the community. Dollar for dollar I dont think anything beats it. I recently got a few new gas rams in that I'm testing now and I have very high hopes for them based on...

    Other Thoughts on this hw35

😆 Me too but I bet that 35 is a dream to shoot in comparison. I think they were a UK exclusive for a bit. I remember seeing an announcement and being really disappointed we weren't going to see them here

    HW/Weihrauch Weak guy springers

The 55 is great. As far as the trigger goes its basically a cleaned up Rekord that breaks a bit nicer. Mine are set somewhere around 6-7oz. The 300 trigger is definitely better but the 55s is still very very good. You can find them occasionally on GunBroker and Ebay but keep in mind you will...

Nothing anyone could ever say would stop me from buying that gun

Weihrauch hw97k 1899 limited edition (Worth it?)

Yes I know. My guns have aftermarket springs in them. Yours are still capable of that power though which is all I was getting at. The factory springs in the 35s here sat at right around 11.5 if memory serves

Weihrauch hw97k 1899 limited edition (Worth it?)

My .177 35 sits at exactly 12ftlbs with JSB 8.44gr while my .22 HW35 sits at 13ftlbs with FTTs. Even if it was only 10fpe though that gun would still take rabbits fine at reasonable ranges.
