I've had good luck using a red light.I usually use a small flash light with a red lens just bright enough to see their eyes light up and then I hitem withe a brighter red led tactical light and take the shot.

Regarval thanks I see now on the DFG website under F.A.Q s states that "since pellet rifles are not firearms, the use of lead pellets is not prohibited". I think I'll try to find something to print out and keep with me too.

The things I don't like and it seen that other people have issues with are the charging port location, set screw for the barrel and the brass transfer port with the keyway to align the barrel.
