I had the EXACT sam problem..Try polishing the barrel. That solved my problem👍

Mine will too^^^^^. I think the OP only "dialed" the power spring to max. If that the case the regulator and hammer spring are out of tune. (you need to adjust the 1.5mm screw on the side of the HS) At least that is my thinking, if Im wrong ignore everything I said 😁

This seems like a solid idea, the only thing I would add, is some Comet to help the leather grip. The same principle as a barrel vise. 

If you buy the slug liner it will only be the liner. No shroud.
