Tough call as two of the three are not arrived yet although the specs on the PC 2 look good with the balanced valve I would like to see some hands on field tests first. Hopefully Alex gets one to review when they arrive. The krait also has an externally adjustable reg as well as 'slug' barrels...

The only issue with the new balanced valve design on the prophet 2 is that the power range isn't as great, yes it will do high power but not be as easy to have a lower power tune without changing parts which is a shame as the versatility is part of the appeal.

I have just been looking into the PC and barrels are now supplied in 500mm and I think yours is the 400mm version if you are using baffles…not sure if that’s an issue if you want to try the .177 barrel, maybe you can find one somewhere? Anyway my R5m is .177 and pushes the 12.5g slugs very...

These are really interesting me. Looking for a bottle gun and have it narrowed down to a V3, cricket tactical or the prophet compact. The PC seems the most versatile of them and also the lightest. I already have an R5m and a vet standard so want something different and versatile. Your comments...

I have both a vet and an R5m and both are great. Both solid platforms and plenty of power. I wouldn’t want to be without either.

Yes this is normal. Not sure why the rti’s do this though? Gregor mentions it in one of his videos sometime a while ago. That compact you have looks great, Hope it turns out to be a keeper as you have been through quite a few guns recently, all part of the fun :)

I know it’s not relevant to the slug aspect of this thread but it is to the .177 side of things….a wise man once told me if your barrel likes the 16g .177 beasts then they behave very well at long distance and are very similar to a slug in shape. 

They run really well through my R5m at sub 12 and above. 

Yep, flip it all right over. You will need a spacer as Chris said, also a chance for a bit of extra wadding :)
