HW/Weihrauch Pellet Weight for Beeman R7

Thanks for your comments. I love the rifle and don’t want to tax it unnecessarily. I get excellent accuracy with RWS 7.0 grain wad cutters and H&N 8.2 gr. domed pellets. Tom

HW/Weihrauch Pellet Weight for Beeman R7

Easy question. I inherited a few thousand Norma 9.1 grain pellets and am wondering if they are on the high end of what my Beeman R7 can safely handle. I don’t want to over-work or strain it’s power plant. Thanks, Tom

    Beginner Wind Flags

I want to begin shooting benchrest and nee to purchase wind flags. What flags would you recommend for a “green as the grass “ novice? I live in Phoenix where the wind is always blowing. Do some styles lend themselves better (easier to read) to beginners than others, I.e. double vein vs single...

    Effect of Wind on Pellet

I am beginning to shoot HFT and have a few very basic questions about the effect of wind on pellets. Do pellets react to wind direction the same as, let’s say, a .22 rimfire bullet or do they act differently due to their shape? I understand that the best way to evaluate the effect of wind is...

    Daystate Do It All Rifle

I’m going to buy my first PCP rifle and want to make sure that I’ve done my due diligence. I will be using the rifle to begin shooting HFT, informal benchrest, and rifle silhouette practice. HW/Weihrauch Weak guy springers

I’m relatively new to air rifles and currently own an FWB 300s and Beeman R7 that I’m very pleased with. I am exclusively an offhand target shooter, e.g. informal 10 meter target and air rifle silhouette (20,30, 40, 45 yards). I love the accuracy of the FWB, but at 77 the rifle is getting a...

    HW/Weihrauch First Time Spring Change

Thinking about replacing the spring in my HW77. My goals are to smooth out the shot cycle and elimiNate the “twang”. I‘m looking for a soft shooting target gun, no hunting.
