This is a Safety issue alert

Ah, thanks. I thought I'd read everything but obviously missed that post. I've had the stock off already to adjust the trigger weight so I can manage that again. I won't be doing much else tomorrow so I'll probably have a go at it.

This is a Safety issue alert

Having just hit this problem with my new GRS-stocked Crown, I'm here researching it.... I've tried three female fittings so far including the one supplied with the gun and a good quality extended one but none of them will latch on. I've a strong feeling the stock is getting in the way but will...

Uragan (updates as I learn the gun)

It's a brand new gun so give it a chance to bed in. Put a good number more pellets through it then test it again. I was going to say a couple of hundred then thought that might not be reasonable in .30. ;-)

Daystate THE DAYSTATE PROGRAMMER-LET'S TALK ABOUT (PROPERLY) PROGRAMMING THE REDWOLF

My friends, I have some very, very bad news: I've been informed that Mark died suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday evening. Apart from the obvious loss to his family, he will be badly missed in the forums he frequented and in the small club he helped run in west London.

    AGT Vulcan Tactic Fill Probe

I realise this thread is 3months old but this may help someone in the same fix. The probe for Weihrauch's PCP range (i.e. HW100) also fits AGT guns (and Edgun and possibly Kalibrgun too).

    uragan in say a 22 or 25 ?????????????

No, it was rather abbreviated but what he's saying is that if the stock is wood then the hand-guard is aluminium but if the stock is synthetic then the hand-guard is polymer.

    uragan in say a 22 or 25 ?????????????

Again, it's a UK maker so may not be able to help you - user Jeffsky on the airgunforum.

    uragan in say a 22 or 25 ?????????????

The shrouds came from user Halinfax on airgunforum.co.uk but I don't know if he'd be able to export them.

    uragan in say a 22 or 25 ?????????????

@Blackpaw It's home made from this Picatinny rail extension and the middle one from this set of RIS covers. Okay, these are Amazon UK items but they're generic enough that I'm sure you'll find equivalents wherever you are. I then had to cut away a little metal at the back so it cleared the...

    uragan in say a 22 or 25 ?????????????

The 210cc tank is 50mm o/d so the 530cc must be the same. The after-market ones I can get are 54mm +/-1.5mm which is just large enough that the standard shroud won't fit. Below is a pic of two Uragan Compacts; the top one has a 300cc bottle and a replacement 30mm o/d shroud - you can see how...

    uragan in say a 22 or 25 ?????????????

There's no valve in the bottle adapter. You have to drain the air by undoing the bleed screw in the bottom rail before you can remove the bottle from the gun.

    uragan in say a 22 or 25 ?????????????

The guy who made me an adapter for M18x1.5 reckoned the adapter is bonded to the standard bottle. It's a very light bottle for the capacity and has a very short neck compared with third-party bottles usually intended for the Impact so the adapter probably has a short thread to save weight and is...

    AGT - Vulcan 2 , A Sleeper Amongst Giants

That was fairly obvious from your desire to use slugs but I just like showing it off.

    AGT - Vulcan 2 , A Sleeper Amongst Giants

This is my Vulcan 2 in .177 but I'm in the UK so it's sub-12ftlbs and slugs wouldn't really be a good idea. 😉

    AGT Vulcan 2 - .177 cal - Any opinions?

I have a Vulcan II in .177 with a laminate stock. I'm in the UK so it's limited to 12ftlbs. Now it's shot-in it's turning in very good groups - I'm pretty sure the wobbly nut behind the bolt is the limiting factor - and over a 29-shot string the spread was 4fps.

I Want to buy a FX WC MIII compact.

Unless I've missed something, the downside of the WC MkIII is that it's no longer useable by left-handers. That large magazine is too far forward for a leftie to get his/her face anywhere near the cheek rest.

    Dismantling the Vulcan/Uragan moderator?

I'd try that if I had a vice and suitable pins..... If your Uragan is running at 12ftlb or below you might find the DonnyFL Tatsu is enough. In the UK we also have the option of Air-Fective's dedicated offering for the Uragan which is the same length and diameter as the Tatsu but much lighter...

    Dismantling the Vulcan/Uragan moderator?

My Uragan Compact came with a separate screw-on moderator which is what I want to modify, not the internals of the shroud. I've seen picture of the shroud's internals and I agree it would be hard to work on.

    Dismantling the Vulcan/Uragan moderator?

Has anyone managed to dismantle an AGT moderator? The one on my Uragan Compact has plenty of volume but is inefficient on .177 as it's .30. So I'd like to get in there and add some 6mm I/D baffles plus hair rollers and felt in-between in a similar pattern to Weihrauch's moderator. Yes, I could...

Uragan (updates as I learn the gun)

I can see what the internals look like - a cylinder of what looks like foam held in place by a large spring. Rather than struggle I went with Plan B and bought a DonnyFL Tatsu which has a slightly larger diameter than the original but is a good bit shorter. It looks good on the gun and is...
