out of my new Diana 54 is there anything I need to do or know about this gun first. thanks in advance for tips. This is a 177 cal , do I need to clean the barrel or anything like that.

For the Diana 34 in 177 cal I ordered earlier this week. I ordered a UTG 3- 9 X 40 X 1" hunter. and a mizugiwa 1 piece high profile magnum A mount I hope this all works out I'm excited like a kid and can't wait to get started on this hobby. Hope I didn't make 2 many beginner mistakes already...

i just ordered a Diana 34 as all I ever owned was lever action and pump bb guns and now at 62 years old I though it was time to try and find one that would be very accurate and possibly hunt small game with it. And glad I found this site for tons of info I will need to set this gun up.
