Issue resolved, through some fault finding. Problem was my own fault, I fitted a Kraford and Lypt probe carrier, which are excellent, but I didn't check probe seating depth, the probe was only half way across the transfer port, doh !!!! Adjusted and much better...

I also tested at 50yds and I get a great group and then get a random shot drop 2" and slightly left. Testing on chrono shows a spurious 300fps speed drop intermittently ... Really annoying o_O

Why do you have to have that number, how would it explain a spurious 300fps drop on occasion ? The 2nd reg is set at 140barg, if it was set at 110barg, 130barg or 160 barg, it should not do that, the hammer is in no way maxed out, and it's not going over the curve and dropping back off in power...

Alright Kev, you could of just wound the valve stop out further to allow more travel.. just a quicker way than adjusting the hammer seat... Good to have a few breech seals handy too, has your FPS spread resolved itself now.. ?

Adjust the valve stop further out than line 4, somewhere like a line 5 which isn't marked...

I found the standard 700mm superior liner vastly better than the superior heavy liner... Put the superior standard back in and re test... it shoots H&N .25 slugs great..

Yes I have a Mk2 and Mk3 impact and on the Mk2 the probe carrier has always appeared to sag slightly lower than the Mk3 . This causes the probe to slight catch the bottom of the transfer port before being guided in... I was thinking of maybe adding a small piece of brass shim on top of the block...

Try some H&N 36gr slugs in .249 or .250 with a 700mm superior standard liner at around 930fps (56 shots per fill) and 960fps (30 Shots per fill) and you will be VERY impressed.

JCD zero your Uragan to 45-50yds and shoot a 100yd group see if you have horizontal movement please if you get chance.

They are master salesmen, they have multiple youtubers all pushing there products and now scopes... whilst the FX rifles are excellent, they overhype stuff massively . Take for example there new scopes, go buy a Sightron S-Tac and save yourself a heap..

So how would you prevent or reduce spin drift ? Also it seems the uragans and vulcans are prone to this, whilst the impacts I have tried with 45yd zero and then shooting at 100yd distances and with the same pellets are not.
