to clean or not to clean ?

New guns I clean the barrel they tend to be pretty dirty from the factory. I also clean used guns and give new and use a once over to make sure nothing is loose and operating up to snuff. And like a lot of you have posted I will clean when I notice accuracy issues. Tim in Michigan.

Custom Part Sources For Crosman 22xx Series

I really enjoy all the modding that can be done with the Crosman 22xx, 17xx & 13xx series guns. Either there use to be more custom parts makers or I have lost track of what's out there I would love some feedback on where you get your custom stuff. For example triggers, breeches, barrel bands...

    Rifle advice requested

Do you live in a warm climate year round? If so a pre-owned Crosman 2260 with a Steel Breech and a simple trigger mod makes a real nice little gun light weight easy to scope if you decide to and very quiet with a muzzle brake/ldc. Hard to beat the convenience of C02 climate permitting. Not to...

buying a cheap pcp with little accesories vs. a nicer springer with everything

Another vote for PCP from someone who owns both. I have a beautiful 1980's R7 that I do shoot once in a while and a disco that I purchased when they first came out but my PCP's of choice are my Prods that are both set up as carbines there very accurate and just plain fun to shoot. The only...

Any opinions on the Crosman 1701P PCP Pistol?

1701P is a really nice pistol I changed the trigger blade to a better fitting trigger with a really nice comfortable wide blade. While changing the trigger I polished all the metal on metal and where applicable used my favorite grease Hot Sauce by Quantum. In an hours time I improved an already...

    Sig Sauer CO2 rifles

I really like the looks of the P226 pistol in Flat Dark Earth. I am going to start with the pistol and if it's nice I will be ordering a Sig rifle too.

Any opinions on the Crosman 1701P PCP Pistol?

I just received my pre-loved 1701P yesterday and I am really enjoying it. Extremely well balanced mine came with an uninstalled Williams blade sight once I got that installed and zeroed in I can pepper a small sticky dot off hand at 25'. I have most of C02 pistols scope but I am really enjoying...

Welcome to AIRGUN NATION - please introduce yourself here!

Tim A. From Michigan received my first Airgun on my 13th birthday in 1974 a Crosman 1400. I have owned a lot of different Airguns over the past 40 years with 60's & 70's Crosman being some of my favorite. I really enjoy taking fairly inexpensive Airguns and making them shoot better with trigger...
