    Leupold and Swarovski Optics

Got the Tract 3-15-50 today...there is absolutely no way I can let this scope go. Leupold is coming off tomorrow. While they are both optically similar, I still love Leupold Glass, the functionality, weight and overall fit and finish of the Tract scope is as good as any Swarovski or Leupold I...

thanks appreciate all your feed back! I ordered two of the tracts to see how they are, I will ultimately return one if they fit the bill. I ordered the two different size bells, 44 and 50. Which Vortex are you referring to?

    Leupold and Swarovski Optics

I can go up to about $1200 if needed, not saying I want but if all the boxes were checked I would-not sure it exists though. Parameters would be sub 20 ounces, 44mm OB or above, and I like a fairly plain reticle but but would live with some reasonable holder lines or something like that...

ha! good point...I can't find if the spec states how low this paralax goes on the Midas. I do like this scope, I do not necessarilly need or care for FFP.. i supposed I could get used to it. lol

lol yep thats definitely an solid and affordable option..What are the Argos with the 50mm objective?

    Leupold and Swarovski Optics

yeah I agree i think I am a little bit hung up on weight, I had a Hawke Sidewinder FFP and it was a nice scope but it was a tank so I sent it back. It had a ton of adjustability which I liked but I hated the weight on my Crown. I do agree paralax under 50 yards will be important, I need to...

This is the Swarovski I am considering. And the Leupold. Once has paralax (Leupold) and the other does not. Swarovski Z5 2.4-12x50 https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1020864722 Leupold. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018YKOORW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    Leupold and Swarovski Optics

Yeah I agree I need to identify one with paralax adjustment and dig into the details on that i find that to be something I like if I am not going to get adjustable objective, which only seems to add weight.

    Leupold and Swarovski Optics

Yeah those are great scopes but at that price point the Swarovski wins with lower weight and likely better glass. Paying over $1k is something i need to get past to get the scope I want. Seems the more I spend the closer I get to everything I want.

    Leupold and Swarovski Optics

yeah I agree, Swarovski is a cut above with glass. How important do you find having Paralax and adjustable objective in your air guns? I am more focused on the features I know the overall quality is good, just want to know if guys are running anything like this and wishing they went with a...

    Leupold and Swarovski Optics

Just curious, aside from price why Airgunners don't use any of these brand scopes? I have had the pleasure to look through these for consideration to be mounted on my FX Crown .22, just haven't pulled the trigger yet. I really like the weight of these brands, well below 20 ounces, I just can't...

    FX Dreamline Tact Compact.25

btw that way the paracord idea underneath for the hand hold is genius..It was the first thing I noticed about this gun and disliked, the edges are all 90 degree hard edges. Coming from my Crown all the soft edges it's a difference. How do you fasten the paracord? Hot glue?

    FX Dreamline Tact Compact.25

Nice, really came together nicely..What is the grip you used? I am setting up a Ghillie Green next week might take some queues from your set up. 😄

    FX Dreamline Tact Compact.25

question; I noticed you changed the grip from Hogue to something else..What grip is that? Also looks like you mixed GL-Core butt end with the Hogue butt stock..Did you have a GL core laying around or can you order that part? I like how you personalized it.

    Dreamline Tactical vs Impact MKII

not really sure, at that point I'd suggest you go for the Impact if you power. I have a Crown and got the Dreamline Tac compact to compliment and for around the house etc. it's an awesome combo, but if you want an all in one answer the Impact might better. Not sure you can change valves easily...
