I recieved this today from one of the more “reputable” airgun shops. They said they were sorry for the damage on the transfer port, but said it had to have happened at FX during testing. they are going to exchange for another, but I’m concerned it will be the same.

I was told today that all barrel kits from FX are mounted in a gun first and tested, leaving a set screw imprint and scuffs like the barrel has been used. Is this true? Or can anybody honestly say they have recieved a barrel without set screw imprints and that did not appear to have ever been...
