Put the pellets in the pot. What little duct seal will float to be scaled off like any other dirt or debris. It isn't going to hurt your pot a bit. Don't overthink.

I have to agree with the others about keeping one. Since you aren't going to want to get involved with the compressors or tanks needed for the PCP, I'd suggest the same ones if you choose to keep one. I have a 300S and it is certainly a lot more accurate than I. Since it and the 601 are both...

I have never slugs from. an airgun. This Hatsan has given me ideas. I own an Mrod that shoot heavy pellets pretty well and I might have to buy some slugs for it. Have you ever tested an M rod with them? I would really like to see it. Of course, if I win this one I'll be all set.
