How are you getting that much velocity? I have a gen 3 dual transfer port, matching probe, a heavier hammer spring, a lighter valve spring and i can only get the 66.5grn nielsons to shoot at 850fps.

Couldnt hurt.... especially if its a limiting factor...

Any more suggestions?

I have the slug power kit installed already....Except the probe because i have my .30 barrel installed.... Thanks for the answers so far... hopefully i get a few options... like to get as much feedback as possible...

Doesnt matter what the description was... If you go to the fx website, and look up schematics, and parts list of a caliber change barrel kit it includes the moderator, and fx ships them to their distributors with moderators so if you get a barrel kit without the moderator you are not receiving...

Anyone else experience this? I contacted the vendor via email, and he got right back to me... his response was "The kits they sent me did not include any moderator." I think this is unacceptable at the price point, so i responded by asking if barrel kits have come with moderators in the past...

Bump to an old post... wondering if you ever got the lw poly barrel to shoot well out of the cricket. If i was you i would start with the velocity on the low side... 800fps, then turn up the power adjuster slowly until the groups tighten up...

Had mine for a couple of months now... After learning about the gun, and playing around with the tuning i couldnt be happier... Pushes the 30 cal 44.75 cal pellets at 890 with a reg pressure of 95... i always refill after two mags (46 shots) but it has enough air left to fire off 60 shots at...

Heres a 15 shot string from this a.m. i am really short on time, and cant get to range too check accuracy... im willing to bet gteatly improved though... its very accurate with occasional spikes... ill keep it just the way it is for a bit to see if that issue goes away once it settles in more...

Ok so i took the valve adjuster completly off exposing the valve rod. It slides in, and out freely... no tension either way... in the video when ernest rowe disasembles an original impact there is spring tension when he pulled on it This is an mk2, so I'm not sore if this is normal... can...

Im thinking that something must be broken inside. i will not believe that it just needs to be tuned right to correct sudden jumps, and drops in velocity. Its frustrating because the gun is so accurate on the consistent shots... same hole at 30 yards. Im thinking valve issue though, not reg.
