Sheridan Help with my childhood Sheridan

I had made a lead seal trimming fixture for the lathe to shape the seals to the correct size and shape. Makes assembly sooooo much easier, (less chance of cross threading the internal threads on the plug that fastens the valve body in.

    N/A Plainsman .28 Air Shotgun

Between my son and I, we have a couple of Plainsmans, to include the .28 shotgun. Need to rework the valves on the Co2 and some multi-pump ones yet, (life keeps getting in the way).

Electrochemical Rifling barrel, maybe we are on the right track.

Chem milling has been around for a long time. If you were to paint the ID of a barrel with the chemical resistant coating in the twist pattern you desired, you could just put the barrel in the tank for a set amount of time and be done.

Other thinking about buying an avenger, for plinking and some occasional hunting. would a hand pump be reasonable or a compressor is a must?

I have an Avenger that I fill by hand pump to 3800 psi, with reg set at 2100 psi. Refill when it gets to reg set point, (2 sets of 50 strokes each). But, I have gone through my pump to make it more efficient. Works for me.

    Other Xisico Sentry Burst Disc?

Glad that you got it back together! “It would be nice if I could have my pressure gaugue there, instead of on the end of the tube. Staring at the muzzle while filling has never set right with me...” I agree with this, however, this design is the simplest to maintain tube volume. I have a...

    Other Xisico Sentry Burst Disc?

Have you tried calling Mike at Flying Dragon at about noon? I believe that Captain o-ring on Amazon has burst disk assembly and I believe that the Sentry came with a few Burst disks. My 705-9K fills to 3000 psi.

    Other Xisico Sentry Burst Disc?

Did you cock it prior to attempting to fill. A lot of times the hammer sits against the poppet stem which keeps it from sealing.
