I have seen many parts, especially regulators badly corroded due to moisture. the filters wont hurt anything. moisture may also damage orings. i am reluctant to take apart pcp, it is a tedious work.

Every filter has some kind of cotton, foams, cahrcoal or a desiccant and these tubes supposed to filter water and oil.. when a compressor pushes air of 250 bar pressure through this tube, how a desiccant decides to hold the water under that pressure but let the air through?

what if i add more orings evenly spaced, instead of cf sleeve.

I haven't used the mk2, but my SE is a very fine thing. The stock tench regulator may not match Huma, but its performance is not offensive. 

hi Odoyle! there is more in the story. the sudden drop from 855 to 840 was probably the break-in of the regulator after service. With the second fill, I got 80 shots with avg. fps of 844 and es of 17. Per shot air consumption was 1.2 bar. now I am very happy with it.

Got my attention, can you explain further. How exactly and mathematically you do it..

Yes, i tried it. I observed the bottle oring was not in good condition. So i ordered a few. Hope they will fix the problem.

That time i finished installing 350cc cf and was hoping a little high fps with good shot count. But the reg and then the valve didn't wanted me to enjoy it. Now i m back to office and will work on it during weekend. Meanwhile will be looking for suggestions. Thanks

No i didn't cranked the regulator nor the hammer spring to max. I increased the reg a bit, but it didn't hold the air. Tried to stop air but after 100 bars valve was also not holding the air - no more air in the bottle now. And now compressor is not able to fill it. Tried loading the gun also.

I know majority of us had problems with tench, i still have it in my .22 r10. I wanted an increase in fps. So, removed the bottle turned the regulator cw half of a quarter and now regulator is not holding pressure anymore. It was leaking from breath holes. I was at 800 fps for jsb 18s, wanted...

Has anyone tried jsb slugs .22 in hatsan nova star. Which fps is giving best results. I tried .216 with 800 fps, it was terribly wobbling, then at 830 didn't like it, now currently it is at 860 fps, but still wobbles.. now i give up and would like to ask geeks here.

Thanks for suggestion.. in my area Kaliber guns are about 800 dollars expensive than zbroia.. and i believe the accuracy is at par..
