    HW44 vs. AP16 which one??

I have the HW44 here in England, The Weihrauch silencer is removable, bit of a faff with the allen screws, so I leave the adaptor mount on the pistol, and unscrew the body of the silencer.

New guy deciding on what Bull pup

I had an AGT Vulcan, best by far, and an FX Wildcat (from Sweden) We have low power levels here in UK and Vulcan kept edging up on power, had to go, didn't fancy prison !!! I preferred regular rifling, rather than keep experimenting with smooth twist, and then I discovered the Vulcan so the...

    Steyr LP50 HP?

@Baby Sherman... Hi you wrote Cory, I assume you meant CORKY , so I'll chime in anyway. I am in UK , not US . The favourite Forum in UK seems to be AirgunBBS .com. I found both my pistols there. They are however the popular normal length and power level for ISSF 10 metre pistol shooting (as in...

Project P15 just about finished.... offset shroud update...

@mackeral5, Thanks for that. Never thought of anything like that, I will have a look in my scope bits and bobs, I use a roll pin or something very similar for the arrestor pin on my rear scope mounts

Project P15 just about finished.... offset shroud update...

Hi Jamie, my Darko mag was posted 9 April , the day after ordering, and arrived today 20 April. The tracker only worked in Croatia, and the mag was last shown to have been sent abroad on 9 April. from Zagreb. My 3 sons and I share two P15s, the Darko single shot loader was fitted to one, and...

Project P15 just about finished.... offset shroud update...

@ JamieUK, yes great work, I too have ordered magazines from Darko, only having used the OE ones for a short while, before going singe shot. I never had a single shot tray supplied with mine, so went for an early aftermarket 3D printed one, works well, Mention has been made of an adjustable butt...

    Steyr LP50 HP?

I have an LP50, actually 2 ! Steyr make small, medium, large, left and right in their match style wood, and Rink make similar. I also have a 1911 style grip , that I bought from USA, for ambidextrous use. . I seem to remember that Rink offer custom fit, if you send them your measurements...

Why are some Bullpup bolts, lever on

Yep another vote for Right hand trigger, left hand cocking and vice versa. I shot my AGT Vulcan right hand trigger, as the cocking side was owners choice, I went with left cocking. Meanwhile my lefty son had left hand trigger and left the cocking handle where Daystate had put it on his...

    Single Shot or Multi Shot?

I like the single shot method, I suppose it reminds me of long gone happy days with a BSA Super Meteor break barrel

Daystate magazine feeding issues with slugs (in my Compatto)

A huntsman classic, a similar Shadow, 3 Mk4 rifles..... I gave up on the Daystate 10 shot magazines on these family rifles, and used a single shot tray, for better accuracy and loading.. I am hoping the above suggested CARM magazines will be better, just ordered one to try, along with a single...

    New HW110

Looks like this HW one ten is ambi in many ways, the safety is on both sides, the cocking side lever can be changed to either side, the stock is ambi and appears to be beech with a sort of rubber covering. The fast fire advertising appears to be no more than a shorter swifter stroke side lever...

Trying to source Weihrauch HW95 K barrel

In England, the original 95K was not greeted with great success, and Weihrauch came up with an even shorter one, with a threaded muzzle and LDC as standard. Make sure , if you can find a barrel, that it is the length you need.. I remain very pleased with my .22 version, less jumpy than the .177...

The gun you like the most and why.

My "made in England" Phoenix Mk 2. It has outlasted offerings from Air Arms, Airgun Technology, Daystate , Logun, and FX. Why?, because it has been accurate, reliable, different, and good looking. Accuracy in it's .22 calibre speaks for itself. Different... well the air bottle is totally...

I think crows can see pellets coming

I would guess that crows can see the pellet coming. Under certain conditions, when I used to hunt, I could see the pellet going, so why not?

    hawke vs.falcon

As FastEddie wrote, great 'scope, I bought two. Faultless. Smooth and light rotating parts, a real pleasure to use. Unlike two Falcons that I tried, mentioned by the OP, the rotating parts were so very stiff, the focus NEEDED a huge sidewheel, for leverage but mostly... I could not get used to...

    Experiences with these hawke scopes?

Hawke Tac 30 Sidewinder 8.5 - 25 x 42 HK 4030 Half Mil-dot (20 X tactical),. I had one of these, and was so pleased with it, I bought another. Maybe a bit over the top for informal target and plinking, but everything worked as hoped, clear, and smooth, light turning rotating parts, unlike a...
