    Read my entry , your spring compressor needs modifying to work with barrel ON the gun, otherwise you hit the problems that you have...

    Yes absolutely! Unfortunately you've made the spring compressor to work with the barrel removed, When I tune the 80, which I have done many many times, remove everything from the rear end first! No spring pressure, then break the barrel before removing the bolt, On reassembly fit the shims...
