    Anyone Hunt Groundhogs?

I've learned through many elmer fudd experiences to make sure you observe the landscape. They make holes everywhere and are very curious so usually if they don't pop up to check you out initially they will head to a different vantage point. Sometimes it works out nice and they pop up closer for...

    Need advice on skull cleaning

Well from my experience in the vulture culture boiling bones with anything is usually a bad idea because of particles of fat that get trapped into the bone and will continue to degrade it after drying (the smell your smelling). Since your past that point already I would continue to soak in plain...

    frustration!

Let me add this was with my trail .25 with the centerpoint scope (definitely get a new scope). I'm not sure if the same is true with the .177 or .22, especially since they operate at much higher velocities.

Any pellet recommendations to slow things down???

So I have this Winchester 1000x, and it does what it says it will do and shoot a Jsb exact at the speed of sound and destroy any and all longer range accuracy. Anybody have any recommendations for a good pellet to hit the brakes a bit?

    The groundhogs are out!!

Nice shot, looks like he caught all of that JSB! They sure are out, and they are (were) after my shed! Big guy was taken at 26 yds. and the much smaller spring newbie was taken @ 44 yds. I'm still filling the holes up...
