Fixed it! pulled it apart and found that the little latch that makes the safety work just wasn't sitting in the right place by 2 or 3mm. Thanks guys

Hi there, I recently purchased a secondhand Cometa Fenix 400. The safety on it pulls out when clocking it but it still fires. It has had a new spring put in it. Any ideas what might be wrong? Thanks
