I have not noticed any puff or feel of air, and certainly no noise or hiss when firing, but I will in the morning, put a tissue over the breech area and shoot a couple shots to see.. Thanks.

I have medium rings on mine, no issues. and, just to note, .25 went out the back of the skull on a large raccoon just this weekend. Dropped him just as pretty as my 10/22 does, only a lot quieter.. and cheaper.
