I have a similar problem with mine. It has gotten easier to turn, however, when I first go to move it after it sits for a day or so it "pops" then slides easily again. Kind of annoying but still a nice scope.

For the Marauder, you could use a Hill barrel band. Although....it may put the bipod farther forward than you would like. Either way, it's a nice addition. Their website is going through maintenance at the moment but they have them for sale on eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/272828429123...

Another vote here for the the Pro Chrono DLX. With the indoor lighting kit I've had zero error shots. My only gripe at all is that it doesnt record duplicate readings on the smartphone app. The Chrono will say Dup1, Dup2, and so on but only the first shot is recorded on the log. Hoping that is...
