    It was near identical size to the original one but softer and in better condition. Might be the tbt spring. Might try a vortek or arh kit. Arh was unable to give me a ball park figure on power

    Mate did you get it sorted? I replaced the original seal in mine with one I got from target tune india many years ago when I put in a tbt maxi pro kit. It went from just over 12ftlb from factory to a consistent 10.2 I tried installing a power washer but the rifke would not cock

    Thanks for the oring info! I replaced the leather seal on mine with a 28mm synthetic conversion kit from customairseals. https://www.customairseals.com/product/28mm-leather-seal-adaptor/ There is also an oring version. 5 shots 25m .22 superdomes.

    I just got home from the range was happy with the 553 25m groups. I think it's shooting a little hot at 628fps 12.8fpe. I ordered a tbt maxi kit so hoping it will shoot around 11.5ish max. I Will order some 554s and see how they go. Appreciate everyone replies!

    Recently received a new hw50 in 22. No noticeable barrel droop. But did notice when pushing a pellet down the barrel was a tight fit for the length of the block then a looser fit not enough for the pellet to fall before coming to the choke at muzzle. Anyone else have this?
