Artemis GS 1250 gas ram springer -- whaddayathink?

If I’m not mistaken it’s a b18/19. Crosman makes them cheaper.

Difficulty level to repair a Diana 460?

Sounds like the anti bear trap is jammed. Possibly something in the linkage is bent. The main spring is definitely compressed so I would not recommend trying to open it up with your spring compressor. As mentioned earlier take it carefully out of the stock and inspect the cocking linkage and...

Looking to buy a Weihrauch HW97K in .25 caliber - wise choice?

I’d go 460 all the way. I have a D48 and a 350 and the 48 is way easier to shoot accurately. 48 is not a bad option either. Don’t believe the tripe about it’s awkward to use at the bench it’s easier than a break barrel once you learn how. Good luck with it whatever you decide.

Hatsan 1000S Striker 3 Month Review - $100 .22 Break Barrel any good?

I have 2 of the edge versions. Built like a tank but very rough shot cycle and very heavy heavy triggers. No aftermarket trigger trigger so diy if you want better. Flying flying dragon Diana clones or gamo better entry level options imo

    My Weihrauch HW95 arrived!

I use on of these to repair and flare the skirts of JSB pellets. No need to throw out the ones with bent skirts. As an added bonus, I get an additional 30-40 fps with the 13.4 gr. pellets out of my D48. Good luck with the 95, she's a beauty...

    Springer pellet weight confusion

For the sake of argument, take a .177 cal. barrel and a .22 cal. barrel of identical lengths, block one end of each and fill with water. Pour the water out into equal size glass tubes an see which contains more water. The .22 contains more of course, and by a fair margin. So the .22 barrel...

    New 340 N-Tec

These have a great reputation, however I can't tell you firsthand that they are any better than the one you ordered: http://www.airgunsofarizona.com/scope-mounts/sportsmatch-hop19c-1-pc-1-inch-high-scope-mount-with-0.75mm-droop-compensation/ IIRC, there is a Vortek kit that fits the...

    Starling/pigeon rifle/ Hatsan 1000x?

Do yourself a favor and add $54.99 to your budget and get one of these: https://www.walmart.com/ip/RWS-Model-34-P-.177-Air-Gun-Synthetic-Stock-Black/44680696. It's in a different class than the Crosman "Nitro Piston" and Hatsan guns that populate the "Refurbished Airguns" page on many...

    200$ " Killer Springer"....Why the H$LL Not ?

Found this @ AGD. Like the poster above I've never owned one, but they tend to get good reviews. When the Diana 34's come up as refurbs they are around the same price, which to me is as good as it gets for under $200. BTW, I have two refurbs from AGD and both were immaculate when I...

    Rws Diana 350 classic

My 34 rubbed a bit when I first got it. I think the woodwork was off--not the action. I removed about 1/32" from one side and all was good. The 350 is a heck of a rifle but will test your patience. Scotty

Hatsan 95 vs Diana 34... Which one?

34 no question. I've owned 1 Hatsan- a model 85. Stoutly built with a good barrel. Terrible trigger (Quattro) and generally rough around the edges. With a good tune probably a decent hunter with more power than the 34. My 34 was spot on accurate and adequate power for squirrel hunting-great...

    Benjamin trails morning sickness

Your issue is most likely due to the lube in the chamber having to warm up. Temperatures in the compression tube get up very high for a small fraction of a second at each shot. The lube thickens when cool. I would recommend against putting "chamber lube" through the transfer port--tends to...

    .177 vs .22 springer pesting

.177 is plenty for your intended needs. Having said that, I prefer .22 for serious hunting duty. My Diana 48 and 350 have no problem grouping into 3/4" at 30 yards. The conventional "wisdom" that hard hitting springers aren't accurate is drivel IMO. The 48 (with Vortek kit) shoots around...

fr8rbum, what weight pellets were you shooting when you were getting the crack? Thanks, Scotty

    RWS'so best kept secret!

If I'm not mistaken, this model is more akin to the 280, which is a bit less powerful than the 34, but still enough for small game. I would love to have one myself. I would not disagree with you on the "more power crowd". Way too much emphasis there. Having said that, however, the sticker...

    Cometa air guns

It's a shame that Cometa and Norica have such a small presence in the U.S. I think Air Force is the Cometa importer now IIRC, and from what I can see they offer little support for the brand. I have contacted them several times as to the availability of spare parts and received no response...
