    HW/Weihrauch HW97K cocking arm broken

The current pin is still a nice fit, so I will reuse it for now, but explore either turning up a shoulder bolt with a female thread which means it will look nicer, or source one myself.

    HW/Weihrauch HW97K cocking arm broken

Good info. So are shoulder bolts available in the correct diameter to fit? I understand the imprtance of correct tollerances.

    HW/Weihrauch HW97K cocking arm broken

New pin it is. The pain is the postage to NZ is 3 or 4 times the cost.

    HW/Weihrauch HW97K cocking arm broken

The pin in mine is straight, without the lobe on it. Have ordered a new arm. Was reminded that the little nub also stops the finger guillotine from operating, so that's enough reason for me.

Have you found that “ One Airgun”?

I don't think I could nail down one, as I use mine for work. Small feral bird control indoors and rabbits. Mk2 Impact and Crown battle for small game, but an old Air Arms S200 is my go to for small birds. @ 11 fpe it spits 7.4 grn pellets along a laser beam, and I love the shape of it.

    HW/Weihrauch HW97K cocking arm broken

I was working on my 97K and snapped the little lug off the shoe part of the cocking arm that fits into the compression tube. Can I get a blob welded onto it and file it back to shape? I am guessing the tip that broke is hardened. Anyone had this issue and fixed it themself, or is it easier...

Re-"design" a new Field Target game

Intriguing thread. I have been involved in trying to build up a club and one thing I observed when youth are involved is that we/the older shooters can waffle on a bit. I think kids like or respond to set boundries, so a bit of talk is good, but keeping things moving will help to keep the...

    FX Reinforcing a synthetic stock.

If you have any photos of your work on the Crown, I would be keen to see it?

    FX Reinforcing a synthetic stock.

I am waiting for it to arrive, and will put up a photo, but someone else might too. I believe the stocks are solid. For this purpose I was asking about the section of the stock under the bottle where a bipod would be mounted. I personally don't want to mount onto the bottle.

Nomad ll air compressor Stoped building air pressure

I have a Nomad 2 that stopped building pressure. I changed all the check valves and it didn't help, so I changed the brown O ring that seals around the shaft of the piston along with the O ring that sits behind it, and now it builds pressure again. Kits are cheap from Aliexpress. So there are...

    FX Reinforcing a synthetic stock.

I like that idea. I hadn't considered carbon fibre rods.

    FX Reinforcing a synthetic stock.

I am buying a Crown with synthetic stock, and am considering ways of reinforcing the stock where a bipod rail would be mounted. I saw a thread where that whole front section of a crown stock under the bottle had broken off, and hear of screws working loose in the synthetic material. I have a...

Arken Zulus 0, 20, and 35 MOA Mounts - Short or Long for FX Crown?

I am considering buying a crown that I would likely mount a Zulus on, so am very interested in this. I see you have yours mounted on an additional rail and your butt pad removed. Are you hunting with this or mainly shooting off a bench? I am just curious as it looks quite "upright", and wonder...

Carbon Fiber Shroud with 3D printed moderator for AGT Vixen

How is this holding up after a bit of use? Is your gun fac or sub 12? Am looking at doing something for a friends Vixen, but it's fac.

HW/Weihrauch HW100 bubbling paint on tank

I am considering bvuying an HW100s. I haven't handled the gun and have some photos. One troubling thing is this bubbling at the fill end of the tank. Has anyone seen this before, or know what this is a symptom of? I mean, I can figure it's corrosion, and if I didn't get it for a bargain so I...

    Let's see those 2240 builds!

I have just assembled my next build where I have made my own breech. It still needs finishing work, and I will use a crosman trigger grip and some walnut grips instead of what's here, which is just to test function.

    Let's see those 2240 builds!

Tube is 32 mm OD with a 3 mm wall 6061 aluminium. Fill and firing valve are pinned in using M5 caphead screws. I made the valve using a screw driver shaft and engineering plastic. Fundamentally straight forward and it was a nice surprise that it works well. My biggest concern was the safety of...

    Let's see those 2240 builds!

I've ripped the heart out of this 2240 and replaced it with HPA tube, valve and hammer I made. First time, and it works well putting out around 25 useful shots at 13 fpe.
