Haven't tried the Nielsen slugs. But the H&N 21 grain works fine in my 500mm pellet liner. Both .217 and .218, but .218 seems to have slightly better groups.

They only seem to be sold in the US. Can't find it here in Europe. @nalby Do you notice any difference in sound between the Tatsu & Tanto? When I see the pictures above with the Tatsu on a rifle with a moderator, it doesn't look so fat after all.

I have a hard time deciding. The Tanto follows the shroud nicely with the slimmer diameter. The Tatsu is shorter but won't look as slim. The Tatsu should be the better one regarding sound because of the higher internal volume. Does anyone have a picture of the Tatsu on their rifle?

I get you. Just by watching all the videos regarding the new Element Optics now, has me looking the other way. I still watch the pest videos for entertainment and maybe learn something, but it's very clear it's more of a commercial then a unbiased review your looking at.

I tried the .22 Hades at 88 yards this weekend. 10 shots within 1.2" at 975fps. I'm quite happy with those results shooting at -2C outdoors and with a sandbag as front support. I'll try lowering it 930fps or so next time and see if it tightens the groups. 

Well as I said, FX isn't developing a plenum for the Crown. So I guess we will never see what they might have tested so far either. Me personally, I would like to use a plenum to reach the same speeds as I do today but with a lower reg pressure. More silent operation of the gun and saves air...

Sound's great! FX recently told me that their comment on Facebook, saying they were developing a plenum, is false. Too bad. But if someone else is able to produce one, here's a future customer. :)

900fps with a 500mm a-liner and 150 bar. 870fps with 130 bar. So higher pressure doesn't scale all that good above 130. That's with 21 grain H&N slugs.

I tuned my .22 Crown with the 500mm pellet liner yesterday. Ported transfer port and probe, 150 bar and a hammer weight. I got 272m/s with the 21 grain H&N slugs, 892fps. Don't know if that's enough for you?

Update: Tried to cock the rifle and pump the pressure up in the bottle. It still just hisses out of the barrel while pumping. The bottle is empty.
