    PCP Rifle .357 Airforce Texan

Used .357 Texan SS,bought from guy on here about a year ago. Thought I’d be able to use it way more than I have been able to. Shoots fine just no time anymore. Have a compressor and tank that I will sell with it. $1000 obo

    Mistake

    Ok thanks I’ll try that.

    Mistake

Is there anything else I can do, to not let this happen again? Different (better) gauges on the tank? The compressor has an auto shutoff feature, but when I set it to 4500 it shuts off about 3000 or 3500 on the tank. Its Chinese made so I know it’s not gonna be perfect.

    Mistake

It held when I was at home to 4000 psi for a day or two. Should I have just used the air in it first then got it down to 2-2500 psi and pumped it up?

    Mistake

No. Honestly I’m not sure how to do that.

    Mistake

So I got my compressor and bottle..everything ready to start shooting. I aired up my tank to approximately 4000-4200 psi (it’s a 4500 tank). The next day it got cold and the tank was down to 2000 psi, I know I would have lost some psi to it being cold. But not that much, checked to see if I had...

    Tank gauges

Yes the red area in the gauge was bothering me. Red usually means bad. lol. But I pumped my bottle to 4000 and she’s been holding for 24 hrs now. Finally able to freaking shoot my gun. Now I need a chronograph to find out how fast she is. Thank you for the reply.

    Tank gauges

Also new compressor, it has an automatic shutoff, but 4500 is in the red. I’m good to be able to still pump even though compressor is in the red?

    Tank gauges

Ok so it’s a 4500 tank I just fill it to that reading(probably a hair less). Using the bottom gauge.

    Tank gauges

I’m so close to finally shooting my Texan. I bought I’m on my second compressor, the first one didn’t work correctly. I just got a new one today started to fill my tank and the gauges started to move (Finally). I stopped because I’m not real sure what each gauge means on the tank. Obviously one...

    Benjamin Tank

Hello, I found a used tank locally. I went to put air into tank but it leaks between bottle and regulator. Any idea how to fix it? Can it be fixed? Thanks

    Air Force Texan leaking

Well I finally shot it. I thought it would be a lot louder than it was. The first shot seemed not as powerful, but the second was a little louder and much faster. It only took about 4 months to finally shoot it.

    Air Force Texan leaking

You are correct, took me two days from empty to get to 3000 psi. I wanna shoot it, but I don’t wanna waste a pellet/bullet. Is it safe to dry fire a pcp/texan. I just wanna see if it will leak all the air out or will be ok.
