FX Leaking FX main valve and fix

Seems quite a few of their valves share this design. What appears to be a delrin seal ring on the outer edge of the valve sealing face. But the metal portion of the valve also overlaps with the valve seat sealing face which is entirely metal. Issue seems to arise after much shooting to...

FX Pretty happy with "new" scope for Ranchero

I kept looking at Leupold 2-7x33 scopes. $300 isn't all that bad, but no point in spending if you don't need to. Found this Tasco scope, made in japan. 3-9x32. Wish I'd weighed it. It is shockingly light weight. High gloss finish and a little older styling looks about perfect on this gun...

    HW/Weihrauch HW30/R7 barrel info needed

I have a HW30/R7 barrel that is going to be used to make a longer barrel for another gun. Does anyone know if the barrel is pressed into the block? I assume it is...

    FX FX Ranchero barrel removal?

I'm probably not going to get any help with this, but I can't get the barrel off my gun. I have the receiver basically stripped bare, and it acts like the barrel is welded in there? Is there something I'm missing? The barrel isn't threaded to the receiver is it?

FX Did FX Racheros come with different triggers?

Got a Steve Corcoran stock that appears to be quite old for a FX Ranchero. My Ranchero appears to be quite old as well. The inletting is for a different trigger. With the trigger blade removed my gun does fit in it. But you can see the differences here.

FX Got myself an early Christmas present

Managed to luck out on finding what appears to be a relatively old Steve Corcaran carbine stock for a FX Ranchero. Been looking for a stock for a while now, was eventually going to just make one. But this one popped up for $150. Should arrive Monday. This means ALL of my pistols once again...

    HW/Weihrauch Weihrauch thread protector?

Do HW guns come with thread protectors? The threaded portion is abnormally long. So, even though I have correct OD protectors, they are too short to cover all of the threads. I just like having protectors for all of my guns. I have a hw100 barrel on a nova star and it is just too long to...

    Sometimes it's the little things.

Sometimes it's just really hard to find that one bit. I've had multiple scenarios like this. Serch high and low. Manage to get the last one, or find the last place they can be had. Always feels good. Been looking on and off for 2 maybe 3 years for this piece. Could not find it anywhere...

Snowpeak PP800 fill/gauge cap oring size?

Normally I just measure the oing myself, but mine is swollen pretty badly. Removing the cap cut the oring and it won't seal anymore. I tried one that looked to be the right size, but it had some cuts as well, so I may have swapped it out at some point. It leaks as well. Just trying to verify...

Looking for ideas for pellet holder (just one pellet)

Only has two useable shots. I keep one in the tube. I've been being sloppy and tossing an extra pellet in the pistol case, and it keeps going missing. Trying to brainstorm ideas for something to hold one pellet on the gun.

I reckon a man has to answer his own questions

At that point in the hobby where you have too many guns, and nearly all of them are too nice or personal to part with. I reckon the answer is more space and more guns. Seems like the right answer 🤣

These two do not belong together

Almost comical, really. Such high quality paired with almost non-existant quality. New 600mm hw100 1:21 twist barrel going on my nova star. I've seen these shoot nsa slugs extremely well. So, we will see....

Ticked another one off the bucket list

.177 Ranchero. I missed buying this one twice. Third time is the charm. I saw several 22's come up, and could have bought a new synthetic one, but wanted Walnut. This appears to be a very old model, and it has a fair amount of dings on it. But it has been very well tuned. This is now the...

As stated, looking for a rifle stock only for fx Ranchero.

    Shoehorning a Cothran Powerhouse valve into a pp800 .25

Even at 30fpe, my 25 caliber pp800 feels under-powered. I sent it off to Don Cothran to see if he'd fit a valve to in February, and just got it back today. He did not get a chance to really look at it for a large number of reasons I won't get into (personal matters for him). And I had it...

Hmmm... How fast is too fast for .177 wadcutters?

I know there's a limit. Or maybe I just got a bad batch of pellets. Using a regulated gun with Lothar Walther barrel, and shooting 650fps... Wondering if my scope is broken...

The Crown looks a bit strange without a scope

I've had great success using a Riton 2 moa red dot on one of my smaller pcp's, and really like how light it is. The brightnest adjustments are perfect for mid-day, midnight, or anything else. As well as the dot being very fine. I like it so much, I got a second one. I've seen some stellar...

    Tuning Ok, I'm excited...

I've tried aquiring these bits for my pp800 before over a year ago. The maker declines to ship outside of the UK. I know anyone other than dealers cannot export a stock, but this is not a stock. It appears I may have been successful.... Still up in the air as to whether the post will deliver...

Got some new wood for the Brocock Grand Prix

After theives had stolen my pistol stock, I set out to find a replacement. Brocock had them listed for sale, but upon my attempted order, they informed me there were no more. Gary Cane was making the latest stocks for these, so I reached out to see if he could make a new one. I had to...
