    Daystate Grand Prix .177

This is an amazing rifle and in excellent condition - I just placed 2nd at the Can Nationals. Fully adjustable velocity, from 500fps to 1,200fps. The battery was recently replaced, charges to the full 12.6v. I'm the 2nd owner. The original owner was a Daystate collector and this rifle has been...

    Scuba Compressor for Home

Get a Yong Heng. Read up on this compressor though, there's some tricks / processes you should follow, but it's a great compressor for filling up bottles, as long as you don't push it too hard.

    Yong Heng no joke!

I fully agree - the YH is an amazing value, and works great. My only advice is to not run it above 65C, just let it cool (and vent) for 5 minutes and then cycle it again until your tank is full. I can fill my 45min SCBA tank from 3100 to 4500 in about 15min using this method

Is Open class suffering a slow death?

Open Class is ALIVE in Canada - we just held our CDN Nationals, and had more than a few shooters in that class. Due to physical limitations in some shooters, we have the option of eliminating the forced Standing and Kneeling lanes.

    Target shooting only...which rifle?

Find a used FWB 300s - it feels like a PCP, superb trigger and with a bit of a tune, will shoot in the low 700s

    New HW77K Special Edition

Such a beautiful rifle - that stock color is amazing. You'll enjoy it for years to come, and it'll shoot even better after a few thousand shots!

    Weihrauch HW97K .177

Hi Leo, It's actually a Warren Edwards stock that he made for me and custom fitted it to that action. It's a 1980s 25mm action I sent to Steve Pope of VMach and he added the 'overbarrel' to it (it has slots milled into the top past the muzzle, so it really has no sound reducing value). He...

How do you shoot a springer?

    YES! Proper follow-through is critical.

    hw97k 177 vs diana 48 22.

I've found the Diana 48/52 (and even the 54) a bit hold sensitive, regardless of how they're tuned. The HW97s can be very hold insensitive, so perhaps you just need to experiment with how you're holding it? Diana's can have a great reputation for accuracy - but not quite on the same level as...

How do you shoot a springer?

Agreed. And as others have said, it all depends on that particular rifle. My experience was earned using sub-12fpe piston rigs in an FT setting, and I have zero skills shooting 'off a bench' and whenever I try to do so, my groupings are very poor (worse than when I'm sitting) So if you want...

    Weihrauch HW97K .177

Here's a photo of mine. It's actually an old HW77K that's had a couple of modifications and is my primary FT rig. I 💘 it!
