I really like Hybrids for Squirrels. I have taken a handful with them. The sound of impact on the animal is much like a the sound of hitting a tree branch. I shoot them at around 920FPS, out as far as 80 yards and even at that distance they pass through.

Back lighting with a bright flood light will do you better than painting the pellets. Game will not be shy for long. The pellets or slugs will be really easy to track. Just try it once without lights with as the sun sets behind you. It is like shooting tracers. Nice shot by the way. 

for my Brocock the difference is accuracy. It really likes the FX, still looking for an NSA that is acceptable. I would say try both, but really you'll need to try 2 or 3 NSA or more as there are so many options. I have taken squirrels out to 80 yds with the FX, it sounds like you hit a tree...
