TJ barrels for Impact - I Placed the order - more about grinding

So what happened with this? I plan on doing the same thing- A TJ liner for my Impact. TJ's will custom grind a barrel O.D. for you- which is what I'm doing. The Impact has a 14mm O.D. barrel. Simply request him grind the O.D. to 14mm. No worries about machining the O.D. down. All you'd...

NOE .30 BBT 68 gr Info please!

Maybe if the mags are similar enough, one could simply buy a .357 magazine, disassemble it, then reassemble w/a .30 wheel. That would get up to a .44"+ depth with no work required. Just thinking out loud.

NOE .30 BBT 68 gr Info please!

I just received a Mk2 Impact in .30, and the hi-cap mag it came with has a depth of only a hair over .380"... Or are you specifically speaking about the .35 mags? I can't wait to get everything complete so I can get to accuracy testing!!

NOE .30 BBT 68 gr Info please!

New .30 slug drawing courtesy of Mr. Bob Sterne. I've sent an email to Accurate to see if he's willing to make this mold, and how much it would cost. Only down side is, I'll have to send it to Erik to have a HP made... Not a HUGE deal, but it would have been nice if NOE could make it (and I...

NOE .30 BBT 68 gr Info please!

I found his post- he's got a BBT mold that he's decked. I'm talking about the same BBT mold that's been re-worked, so that it's a flat base, but the same OAL as an unmodified BBT- .375". So this will be a completely new mold. His modified slugs are shorter- probably around .307" or...

NOE .30 BBT 68 gr Info please!

We might be getting a new slug design... I'll keep y'all posted. Basically, it's the 68 gr BBT, w/o the BT, but it's .375" OAL... I'm hoping this'll be the ticket...

NOE .30 BBT 68 gr Info please!

Ooooh that Inferno slug looks amazing!!! They're too long for magazines, but if I ever get the itch, I could single-load them... The HP cavity of the NOE is absolutely HUGE!!! I love it! Thanks for that picture!

NOE .30 BBT 68 gr Info please!

Hmmm... The NOE .30 BBT 68 gr. is designed for that .30 TJ liner... I wonder if the slug is any shorter would it have problems being fed from a mag? For example, going from it's as cast OAL of .375" to a OAL of .307"... What are your thoughts?

NOE .30 BBT 68 gr Info please!

What gun and barrel were you shooting the slugs from? I got the mold BECAUSE of the HP. I'm building a varmint/long range pesting gun, and am not concerned with the meat. I appreciate the reply!

Good evening all! I'm interested to see any and all results with regard to the NOE .30 BBT 68 gr mold. Or 62 gr if you have a hollow point. I have one of these molds on the way, and am curious to see accuracy results. Hear about any issues while casting, just any kind of info in general. I...
