My solution is ear plugs. The muffler is a great idea. I may try and make something similar. Looks good too.

Never happened to me. Just bought a new FX Crown today with my AMEX. Good luck and I am happy your problem was resolved. 

My first break barrel was the best that I ever had. It was a Powerline. It was super accurate, but really hard to charge.
