N/A Another new shooter needs help

True. But I live in NY..quite terrible. Not too much by choice as my whole family lives here and I take care of my old man part time. ....can't easily leave until he does....and then my kids are here.........

N/A Another new shooter needs help

It can get quite spendy. I have a custom r9 that ran around $1,100 if I recall correctly and scoped it with a March that was more than double the price of the gun.

N/A Another new shooter needs help

I'd go so far as to say that I would NOT buy a scope/gun combo unless it's used and the scope has a no Hassel 100 percent warranty like vortex. I would buy the gun and scope separately...

N/A Another new shooter needs help

For $300 you may want to search for pre-owned. Also, gonna be somewhat difficult to get crazy accurate for that price. My r9 is a laser, but new they are over $400

    What Scopes is everyone Using?

Good question. I'm a hunting powder burner guy myself. My varmint rifles often just have a 3×9. To me the biggest issue is linked to power. My airguns give me 18 to 22 FPE. I need to be much more accurate in the delivery of that power to say a racoon than when I use my mossberg MVP which...

Spring Piston vs. Gas Ram: Which is Your Preferred Powerplant?

This. I prefer my coil springs.... I know I can fix them down the road..however my Sig ASP 20 is a laser of a gun and has a clean cycle.... I'll happily add I have well north of 25,000 rounds down range with my asp20 and still performs as new....

    one ragged hole defined

I totally disagree with you here. Couldn't disagree more. That, my dear Watson, is not ragged at all. That, is pellet on pellet single hole. Some great shooting there!!!

Video of me shooting my Sig ASP 20

I LOVE that gun. And my suggestion is you should hold the barrell with your free hand as you load the pellet. Enjoy that gun!!

    Iguana Downrange!!! (Taco Thursday!)

Nice shot and good eating! I still have a difficult time getting the meat to be TENDER. Especially the legs. The tail gets perfect for me. The legs are still "tough". I've tried soooo many different ways to prepare them. Next one I'm going to try what you did!

    S. Florida / Iguana Slo-Mo

They are tougher than squirrels by a TON. I only take them with 22, and even then they are tough..

Best Part of Deer Hunting Isn’t Deer Hunting

No, but often even an unsuccessful deer hunt to me is a huge win. I see tons of wildlife, reflect on life, and enjoy God's creation

    Ordered a 2nd HW...

Agree mostly... When I shoot my airguns I'll OFTEN put hundreds of pellets down range. ......not so much with my 150lb crossbow...
