I think you handled that well. Keep in mind that more often than not the sound of the projectile impacting is louder than the actual firing of a pcp. What kind of target/backstop are you using?

Can you perform at peak performance without some warm up/coffee? The impact is the same…..needs some shots to get going I guess sorta similar to letting your car run a few mins before driving on a cold day.

I am in the camp that it is basically impossible to wear down an air rifle barrel if shooting standard soft lead projectiles. I think you should go through and do a complete reseal of the rifle and change out all the o rings. More often than not a fresh reseal will get an air rifle back up to par.

How do you know what barrel you got? Do they laser engrave them like fx liners?

Am I the only person who thinks they dropped the ball on it? The lack of a carbon fiber bottle and picatinny rail for optics is really disappointing for what is supposed an ultra high end gun.

I would def agree with this. Edgun has videos on his YT that show in great detail the workings of the gun. He purposely made it to be simple and self serviceable. Doesn’t hurt trying, worst case scenario you make a drive out to EdgunWest.
