    Loading port for HW97

I have medium hands and find loading my TX200 difficult as well. I'm sure pellets get distorted occasionally in the process that can affect accuracy. While I'm not a hunter, I would not choose this difficult loader for that purpose. While not as easy as a break barrel, the HW 97 is no problem. I...

    TX200-.22 Pellet Picky

As I break in my new TX200, I'm finding it pellet picky. It does not like the Air Arms 16 grn which I found odd. It does not like the H&N FTT 5.53 head size; these are also too tight in the chamber. It does like the JSB 18.13 grns and the Crossman 14.3 grn hollow points. I just purchased the...

    TX200HC .177 Walnut - Project Overview

Thanks. I've seen some videos but they were from across the pond with 12 foot pound guns. With the way the rear spring retainer/cap comes off once the trigger assembly is out, it does look easy to do without a compressor. I have a tin of the AA's 16 grns that I have not tried yet, thanks. Again...

    TX200HC .177 Walnut - Project Overview

Great project and write-up. I just got a new TX200 in .22 from Pyramid (in walnut). It seems to be shooting well out of the box. Not much through it but it likes the JSB heavy 18.13 grn. Do you have to use a spring compressor to take the TX down or can you get away without it?

    My Happy Group

These springers are far more challenging to shoot than I thought. I think the sand bag will help. I was using a Hart rifle rest. The leather rest on its top was also sand filled, but quite hard. The Caldwell sand bag is softer.

    My Happy Group

I'm pretty much a newbie. Had an HW 80 but never really shot it for groups until this summer. Traded it in for an HW 97 which has about 300 rounds through it and I am working on getting to know what it takes to be consistent with a springer. I also just bought a TX200; both guns are .22. Playing...

I have one coming in .22 cal. Any suggestions for .22 pellets it is shooting the best?

    New HW97k

I don't have to apply much pressure but I do have to wiggle a bit to get a full sight picture to pop in (with the light pressure). Higher mounts are a good thought; the added loading clearance would be a definite benefit. My mount is 1 inch high; I believe that is a low mount?

    Cleaning

I'm new to the forum so I searched the topic of cleaning but didn't come up with anything conclusive. Also, on this subject, opinions are all over from clean frequently to only when there is a problem to never. My question is this. If you are shooting for the best groups you can print, how often...

    New HW97k

I hope the Leupie doesn't shake apart!. I was told by a few sources including Leupold, that they can endure a springer. I had a Leupold 3 x 9 on a R1, which is a boomer, and it did ok. I've had (and still have) 3 Leupolds. A 24x by 40mm benchrest, a 3 x 9 40mm vari x ll and the aforementioned...

    New HW97k

I've read a couple of threads that mentioned Weihrauch .22 barrels are slightly larger in diameter. Your experience suggests that this may be correct. Also, I bought the H&N FTT's, 14.66 gr, at Airguns of Arizona (at their recommendation) and they are 5.53. That's what I'm currently shooting...

    New HW97k

New HW97K in .22. Bought yesterday at Airguns of Arizona. Real good experience there. Cleaned the barrel and removed the stock. The spring wasn't over loaded with lubricant. Re-assembled with loc tite on the stock bolts. Only have about 65 rounds through it and it looks like all dieseling is...

    Leupold blowout sale

Leupold makes a 40mm lens adaptor that allows you to focus at 50 ft. Using the parallex, you can go out further. There are two flavors of it; one for older scopes and one for newer.

    Leupold on Air Rifles

Has anyone been using powder burning rifle Leupold scopes on their air rifles without problems? Also, any feedback on the Weihrauch scopes would be appreciated.

    SOLD-Beeman R1 .20 cal.

Sold-Beeman R1 - .20 cal. Original owner, purchased from Airguns of Arizona in September of 2005. No box; all original paperwork and hang tags. Very little use; prints nice groups for me at 20 yards. Gun is in excellent condition. The gun is in Tucson, AZ. Looking to do a local cash transaction...

Airguns of Arizona excellent experience with them......

I'm going to be driving up there from Tucson next week. Bought my R1 from them some years back. Good experience as well.
