I just set up a new FX Dreamtac Compact 22 with a new Leupold Mark AR 4-12x40 scope using Burris XTR signature rings. The XTR rings have inserts to adjust for MOA. The closest to neutral was a pair of ‘0’ rings in the front, and a +5 top -5 bottom in the rear. I assumed both were ‘0’ rings...

I see what you’re talking about now. Where the shroud flares out and forms a cone, just aft of the male threads for the thicker shroud. The bottle adapter would hit it if you offset it forward with the plenum. That’s a bummer.

I don’t see a diameter issue on the tactical compact because as noted the plenum is the same diameter as the stock aluminum air canister which obviously clears the stock barrel shroud. The potential issue seems to be the added stacked length of the plenum. On the 22 cal this would put the end...

Why is that regulator gauge opening so crude looking? Is that how the gun came from FX - or did you have to modify with a dremel?
