    Hatsan Been awhile...couldn't resist....

I reduced my arsenal over last few years to a single HW30s stainless look in 177 from AOA....wonderful plinker....not a complaint. Then I glanced at Field Supply this past weekend and saw a Hatsan 95 vortex 25 refurb for $86........I did succumb.......arriving Friday.....ordered some HN FTT...

    HW30 pellet deformation

I picked up some 177 9.2 grain crow magnums and shot into one gallon thick clear water filled plastic bottles. I am getting 550 FPS whereas I am getting 660 with JSB 7.33 exact rating. The crows would not penetrate at 31 yards but would at 15. The 7.33 would penetrate all the way at 31 yards...

    A very silly question

So here is my question...if I can send a 7.33 grain JSB RS through an empty heavy plastic 1 gallon Chlorox container with a very low powered factory HW30s at 650 FPS at the muzzle.........and this is at 31 yards.....then why wouldn't 95% of the backyard residential purchasers be satisfied with...

    HW-30

Hello. I am a new member from California (sorry). I have enjoyed air rifles in the past before I was smitten with 45-70 and other PB. I enjoyed my Diana 34, 350, 48 and a previous HW-30. They were all tuned by John in PA and brought great pleasure. Then I impulsively sold them and have enjoyed...
