    Element Immersive Series

As a Wildcat Compact owner, I am very interested in this moderator setup. Looks awesome.

    Meopta MeoSport R 3-15x50 SFP?

I had one but didn’t like it. I thought the glass was a little dull. I returned it and bought the Optika5 4-20x50 RD and though its glass was a noticeable step up. It’s too bad because the 3-15 magnification range better fits my needs.

    Immersive Optics

That is exciting to see a Pro out in the wild. I am very curious to hear how it stacks up against the original 5x30.....

    Immersive Optics 5x30 Pro

Ha, yes, I was that guy who turned around his pic-rail... That is funny that you remember that. I was trying to reduce weight by avoiding that extra-long mount included with the scope. And it worked, kind of. I was basing this idea off the theory that moving the weight closer to your should...

    Immersive Optics 5x30 Pro

So, has anyone seen one of these in person? I am curious to hear how it stacks up with the original series. I liked the original (MTC) 12x50 and (IO) 5x30, but I had to hold my neck in an uncomfortable position on my Wildcat. I am hopeful that the extra eye relief might solve this. I am also...

    Immersive Optics

I got mine (5x30) from a site call Rus Military out of England (I think). Site looked a bit sketchy, but I got a good price and it arrived pretty promptly. This was a little over a year ago.

❓ Is 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆opt HIDING the 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘅 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 of their scopes?

I have also been frustrated by manufacturers not clearly stating a parallax specification. Frankly, this practice seems either under-handed or idiotic (or both). I have caught myself examining the various product photo angles to try and get a glimpse of the parallax knob before reminding...

    What Scopes is everyone Using?

I have a Meopta Optika5 4-20x50 w/ illumination and I like it. The glass and weight are both a good fit for me. I would prefer if it were something like a 3-15x50, but they don’t make one with a 1in tube; the Optika6 does look really nice but a bit too heavy for my taste.

    Optika6 3-18x50 vs Ares ETR 3-18x50

No, that is helpful feedback. Thanks. I was really just wondering if there was a noticeable difference between the two series in terms of optical performance and it sounds like they’re practically the same. Much appreciated.

Can you comment on any differences in image quality between the Optika 5 and 6?

    Optika6 3-18x50 vs Ares ETR 3-18x50

Sorry if I am hijacking the thread, but I have a question about this particular scope. Does anyone have any thoughts or experience on how this scope (Optika6 3-18x56) differs from the Optika5 4-20x50? I was particularly interested in light gathering and bought the Optika5 in 50mm under the...

    prismatic scope range finding

Not sure- I’m not that experienced on this topic. The 12x also had considerably closer eye relief, which might be related.

    Optics

They’re nice, high value for the price. I had the 5x30 and MTC 12x50. Both were light with good glass. I preferred the 5x30 because it had more eye relief and a more forgiving focal plane. I have heard other members compliment to the 5x24. I had the MDR (MilDot rapid) reticle and it was...

    prismatic scope range finding

This is correct. I had the 5x30 and the MTC SWAT 12x50. 12x50 had paper-thin depth of field. Seems like the 14x50 might even be a little tighter. 5x30 was quite a bit more forgiving.

Immersive Optics 5x30 Mildot Rapid $280

I am the first owner, still in great shape. Nice scope, just looking to buy something else and need to free up some money.... I will accept PayPal and will cover the cost of the business charge if you don't want to make it a friends and family transaction. I will also cover the cost of...

That's really funny. Yes, me too: I have never owned a Euro scope either but thought the Meopta looked sweet....
