I have an Alkin W31 too with all the bells and whistles. Last time I checked by the time you pay tax and shipping you’re coming close to 4.5K now. When I bought mine they were just under 3k but prices are going up on everything.

None of the compressors much under $5k were ever designed to fill tanks. If you’re going to use them to do that don’t expect them to do that for long without frequent maintenance and rebuilds.

138 degrees is well within limits. Make sure you are not using an extension cord if at all possible and if you are take a meter and check for voltage loss and high amperage. Then check all your electrical connections.
