Leapers INTEGRIX iX8 LPVO Scope Full Review (Video) w/ the .30 Skout EPOCH

Ooooo, that is a nice reticle. I've owned lots of Leapers scopes and think they are a great value for the money. They punch higher that their weight class.

May 18 field target shoot, Pendleton, OR

I'm holding a field target shoot at my prpoerty just outside of Pendleton, OR, on May 18, 2024. This will be the same format as I did pre-Covid. See flyer below. This event isn't part of any organization or series, it's just for fun. Targets will be between 10-55 yards with one or two past...

Optics AGN Rattler TS25-256 thermal scope

My best friend and his uncle both bought these thermal scopes about a year ago. His uncle is getting older and his eyes are becoming a problem and wants to sell his. It is in very good conditions. $1000. Contact me if interested and I'll send you his contact info...

    Another vote for the Avenger.

    Other Good .22 for slugs?

I have a 3-4 year old FX Impact M2 with the original slug liner. After testing quite a variety of different slug brands, weights and .217/.218 diameters I decided on Griffin 24g 0.218 slugs at 930fps. Lots of time harmonic tuning but these things shoot lights-out. Multiple 158 yard first...

    Budget Thermal Optic

My best friend did a bunch of researching a year or two ago and bought the AGN Rattler TS25. He has it on an AR for coyote hunting. He really likes it and says he'd feel confident hunting at 200-250 yards, clear enough to see antlers on a deer. His uncle bought the same one but his eyes are...

N/A New to pcps any recomendations

I've owned two .22 Marauders over the years and they are great guns. Both my and my best friend's Marauders are heavily modified but were a great basic air rifle to work on and learn. I'm not sure if Crosman has improved their .22 barrels to be more consistently accurate but we both replaced...

    Airgun action in Maui?

My family is heading to Maui on Friday for 8 days. Are there any air rifle clubs I could stop by and visit? Any airgun hunts? I've heard ferral chickens are a problem on the Hawaiian Islands. Thanks. Doug

Best scope for hunting on PCP

I like low to moderate power scopes for hunting. 3-12 or 4-16 and like others have said I carry them on low power for quick shots where holdovers aren't needed. Two great options for different budgets are: -Leapers 3-12 SWAT Classic (non-IR) for about $100-130. Fairly thin reticle with 6...

    Hw-50 scope mount?

My buddy just bought a new HW-50. I sent him home with some UTG 2-piece mounts but they lean over when tightened down and the 11mm dovetail is very shallow with not much of the mount gripping the dovetail. What scope mount (1-piece or 2-piece) is the best for these HW rifles, say under $50. I...

    Tape for marking scope turret

I use label maker tape. It's about 8mm wide, sticks well and accepts super fine Sharpie ink well.

Just curious, does anyone know why the house sparrows have such loud pop?

My thoughts are it's the result of a high projectile weight to bird weight ratio. My 24g HP slugs make a loud POP sound on sparrows but just a WHOP on pigeons. A typical sparrow weights about 460g so that's a 19:1 ratio. A pigeon weighs about what, a pound, so that's a 292:1 ratio. Plus what...

    Athlon scopes

I have the Midas TAC 4-16 and I love it. The reticle is awesome for hunting, not all clutter with a blizzard of dots. I look at FFP scopes this way: when you're zoomed out to the lower magnification levels the reticle sort of becomes a crosshair. You usually shoot at close targets on lower...

Hawke Vantage or Athlos Talos for lower end Scopes?

I had the Athlon Talos 3-12 on my Mrod a few years ago. It checked all of the boxes for light weight, 3-12X range, side AO, mil-dot reticle, decent price. But, it only had 4 mil-dots in each direction so shooting my Mrod at 100 yards would require about 6 mil-dots for hold-overs so I sold it. ...

    Range finder

I have a Leupold RX-650. It's their starter model but it's tiny, light and seems to work very well. I got it new (from someone who got it as a gift) on Armslist for $110 shipped. It's been just right for air guns.

    Bob_O hunting in Wa.

Good shooting! What gun, caliber, ammo and scope were you using? Was this in S.E. Washington by chance? The terrain looks awefully familiar to where we shoot a ton of birds but I don't recognize the buildings.

    Custom 2-piece Impact bipod

I love shooting my Impact but the design of it and any sort of normal bipod don't make shooting from a bench or table very convenient. So, I decided to solve the problem. I ordered two lever throw picatinney rail mounts and a Chinese close of an Atlas M-lok mount 2-piece bipod. [/img]...
