    PCP BIG BORE RIFLES

That’s great advice! If I’m being honest with myself, I’m only 100% out to 100, the buck I took at 140 was more an 80% shot with 20% luck(first buck with an Airgun so I was nervous). I have 8 months to get dead on at 150yds. I’ve been speaking with extreme big bores and I’ve been assured that...

    PCP BIG BORE RIFLES

As far as ballistics not being there, I’ll be running helium in my extreme so the ballistics will most def be there. I shot completely through a 200lb white tail at 140yards last week with a Texan, the extreme will be a lot more powerful than the Texan was. I’ve never been elk hunting, and it’s...

    PCP BIG BORE RIFLES

Ok, so then I shorten my distance to bow range? Say under 75yards?

Feeding large caliber airguns with slugs

I used the Texan this past week to bag an 8pt at 140yds, dropped it in its tracks and the slug passed right through(350g). I only had the chance to run 50 shots through this gun before the hunt and was pretty confident at 100-150, but I’d like to be able to say that if I wanted I can hit...

Looking to upgrade my HPA Source... But, confused about my options... Thoughts?

Can someone please explain to me how the booster/shop compressor works? I was told that I’m only using about 30% of the air in my tank when I feel my texan cf, so I’m starting to feel like I’m missing out on a lot of shots Bc of this and pushing towards buying a compressor to fill myself at home.

Beautiful hunting grounds, very little game

Those are great pics! I just purchased my elk tag for Idaho this year, looking to take my first elk with a big bore(probably going to use an extreme big bore in .457), and I’ve been pretty concerned about the bears and wolves. I’ve spoken to the biologist in the area I’m hunting, she assured me...

Feeding large caliber airguns with slugs

Anyone have thoughts on the extreme big bore for long distance bug game hunting such as elk? My texan LSS cf loves the neilson boat tails in 350, but it’s a looong gun to carry in the field for long periods of time

    Argon For PCP

How much better is nitrogen compared to air in these rifles? As far as the juice being worth the squeeze?

    What's your dream Big Bore?

Anyone have any thoughts on the extreme big bores? I’m looking for something to take to Idaho this year after elk in the wilderness. Something that can get me to 150yds with a pretty flat trajectory. I have a 457 texan LSS cf but it’s a little too long for me to consider taking 5 miles deep for...

    Texan upgrade worth it?

Don’t know what you decided to go with but the Texan LSS cf did the trick for me, 140yds last weekend, dropped an 8pt in its tracks with the 350boattails

    PCP BIG BORE RIFLES

So what are y’all s thoughts on an extreme big bore for elk hunting in Idaho this year? I’m looking for something that can stretch out to 150yds and pack a punch when it gets there. I have a Texan LSS cf that I used to take an 8pt last weekend in Texas, but it’s a little too long for my taste...

Guns .30 and larger that make 215 ft/lb out of the box for Texas Hunting.

Don’t know what you ended up going with but I just took an 8pt at 140yds in south Texas with the Texan LSS in .457. Didn’t make it a step after that 350g passed through. Worth every penny, but ready to try an extreme big bore next.

    Texan 257 or raptor 257

I ended up grabbing a .457 in the LSS Carbon fiber. How do you all think these Texans sauté up to extreme big bore in .457?? As far as power and distance??

Most Powerful Production Airgun out on First Hunt

Those look cool, took an 8pt in south Texas last weekend with the Texan LSS Carbon fiber in .457, at 140yds. Dropped on the spot, slug passed through completely. It’s a little long for me, but the power is incredible.
