    .25 heavy slug twist

From my experience, those TJ barrels that I have are GREAT with 44 to 56gr slugs running 940 fps to 1120 fps. Smoking!

Testing different ELR slugs at 200 yards for potential 700+ targets

Pushing a slug out past 400 yrds has many variables to contend with. Caliber, slug design, weight, barrel fitment, twist rate, overall power output, ect, ect, ect; they all have a variance on performance. I'm in no way saying it can't be done, I personally have ran down the long range rabbit...

    Benjamin Benjamin Marauder BP2264 Upgrade?

Team, I am glad to see that the Old Marauder is still of interest and desire. The M-Mod has stood the test of time like a Timex, takes a licking and keeps on ticking. I have several M-Rods ranging from tuned stock to extreme mods, they all have a specific purpose. I must agree with the...

    Benjamin Benjamin Armada

Hello Team, I am a low budget shooter and can relate to not wanting to spend a lot of money on a rig. The marauder is a great platform to start with. A used marauder to start with, a custom barrel, polish the barrel, trigger, and hammer assembly. And if you're lucky enough to find a Cothron...

Buying a Benjamin Marauder in 2022?

The Mrod is a GREAT base rig. I have several from mild tunes to WILD tunes, and they're all accurate. I've had a few bumps in the road tuning them, but there is a ton of helpful people here that are more that willing to point you in the right direction. Have fun and Be careful, this game of...

    Pellets

That's an open ended question. Rifling, bore to projectile size, velocity, and shooter all have a variance on the end results. I've gotten great groups from the H&N Baracuda Hunters .177 10.49 @ 900 +/- fps, JSB King Heavy .25 33.95 gr @ 920 +/- fps, these seem to group well out of a few of...

    Zan 25 cal 31 & 44 gr slugs

I've also have tried other weights and designs with a varied list of results. The way my rigs are built they tend to handle heavier slugs better. I've tuned down for lighter slug with good results, downside being the lower range and inability to fight the wind at great distances. Shot count...

What’s your fps on both slugs?

    Zan 25 cal 31 & 44 gr slugs

I’ve used the Zans 44gr HPBT, along with the Griffin 46 & 52 gr HPBT in all of my high powered M-rods. Both brans of slugs have Great Quality and Performance. The deciding factor in my main use was magazine size. Side by side, short to long range performance is identical, consistent accurate...

Should I lube Pellets after washing them

Every shooter has a way of treating them rounds, each one being different but accomplishing the same thing. I personally wash them in "Dawn" soapy water, then heat dry, and spray silicon lubricant on them. Re-heat and spray again. This works for my rigs, can't say it'll work for anyone...

    200 yard first shot accuracy

Try ZAN’s 41grn HPBT. I’ve had super high success at distances out past 300m. Worked over M-Rod, 25 cal.

My first attempt at longer range with my .25 RTI (PP 1 w/newer RPB barrel)

Great start,,,,, and down the rabbit hole you go. The ongoing process of getting better has no visible end, you’ll always find a little more space for improvement. You’ll research polishing barrels, washing, weighing, and sizing ammo; that’s just for starters. Projectile velocity, hammer...

pellets and slugs. Dazed and confused.

Hey Doc, There are a lot of variables to consider. For example; How many rounds have you put down your barrel? Have you ever cleaned and polished your barrel? What weight are you using? What's your velocity? How well does the projectile fit your barrel? Just a few questions to start with.

    Marauder modifications

The Marauder is a Great foundation to start with for a Mod-Build. Shoot44 has a point, if you're going blind and have no direction; you WILL spend a ton of money that could have gone towards the rifle of your true desire. BUT, if you have a mechanical background and enjoy the work, then have...
