Im very interested in either the 14x50 or 10x40 to go on a Steyr Pro X or Taipan Vet Short. 90% plinking/pesting @10-30 yds. 10% up to 50-60 yds. I shoot FT so i am very used to 16X. Im hesitant to go with 10X even though the lighter, lower profile is appealing.

Id recommend fixing the connection upstream with a new connector. The area that broke bends and moves around when you pull the battery. Having the solder joint there will just break again shortly. Atleast in my experience…

Looking to add a new scope. Currently have in service the Sidewinder 6x24x56 FFP, and a Midas Tac 6x24x50. Main use will be hunter field target, and a little pesting on sticks. I like the Sidewinder but it doesn't range well enough. The Midas Tac is decent. ranges better than the Sidewinder...

SOLVED! Finally after tinkering with it all day, it was the linkage where it attaches to the trigger. It pulled out there so thats where the play was. I pressed it back in and all is good now. Thanks for all the responses.
