    TX 200 Hard case

I ended up going with the Harbour Freight case. It fit the TX better than the Plano 42 and was a bit smaller than their next size up. It also has wheels like the Pelican 1750 at a fracton of the price. As far as protection goes this thing is a tank! No worries about it banging around in the back...

Crosman F4 .177.....let's hear it folks!

People who have read my posts here in the past know what a fan I am of mine. Over the past several yesrs it has served me very well indeed. In fact it is one of the main reasons I am into airguns today! Sadly she has been retired lately, as I have fallen under the spell of another mistress...

    TX 200 Hard case

OK...the Plano gets the nod. Now here's my question...To TX Owners who are using a Plano case. Which case? Mine is the full sized TX...not the HC. The rifle measures at right about 42 inches in legnth. How does that work with the Plano 42 inch case? Is there enough room or do you need to cant...

    TX 200 Hard case

Hello to all those who know! Recently I have aquired my forever airgun, an AA TX200 mk3. Now I'm looking to purchase a hard case to keep it in. My general requirements include all weather protection, good quality latching, good sizing to allow for a scope, somewhat affordable. (budget of @...

    UTG quality

I recently purchased a UTG scope from PA on the strength of one of their salesmens high recommendation. As soon as I unboxed it I was alarmed at what a pos it was. Just looking through the body with it placed on a small torpedo level I could see the reticle was a hair off of 90. I also thought...

    Refinishing walnut stock advice needed.

LDP, I have spoken with one gentleman who attempted to use BLO on his TX and had issues with his sweat marring the finish while shooting FT on a hot muggy day. I realize BLO or just plain linseed oil has been used for wood preserving on military firearms for ages. The reports I've read...

    Which gun?

My first air rifle was purchased about 3 years ago with the only intended use being pest control at my bird feeders. That rifle was a Crosman F4 purchased at Walmart in NH for under $90. I mention NH because it's a tax free state. That rifle,.177 gas piston, with a small scope has virtually...

    Refinishing walnut stock advice needed.

I chose to use Royal London Oil because of what I had read about it from others who used it on their TX 200 air guns and compare it's use to blo or tung oil. It was my belief that the RLO was formulated for use spacificly on on an airgun or firearm, where as the others are more traditional wood...

    Refinishing walnut stock advice needed.

Hello all, A few weeks back I aquired an Air Arms TX 200 III. However I found the finish on my new TX looked dry and bland when I compared it with the finish on others I found on the web. I was also concerned about weather proofing my wood for protecting it in the real world. I want a finish...

    Any motorcyclists?

Hey Mike Before the Harley I had one very similar to your HRC. Mine was a '99 VFR800. Quite a rocket of a bike but again not much room for a rifle. Now days I'm a lot older and slower... and could it be wiser?,... So the ole Super Glide works for me. The rebel in me knows I'm going to get...

    Any motorcyclists?

The bike in question is a '10 FXDC and the rifle is the TX200. I like the guitar case idea. I do have a soft case from a cheap knock off SG I also own. Spaceblue

    Any motorcyclists?

Here's a question. If you ride and are also into airguns... have you figured out how to carry your rifle while you ride? I'm thinking transportation to your range...descreetly? Or out to the country or ranch? Maybe? Tell us if you've figured out how one can accomplish this task without...
