I had the same issue with the O-rings last summer. I did send mine to AOA and have not had a problem since. As stated I don't feel I should have had to pay for shipping and should have gotten a New tube and reg. We should not be getting a "rig it so it works" fix on a $1000 plus rifle. I know...

If both are equally wrong I would say it is your chronograph.

Is there a backing nut in the stock? I have heard the threads strip out without.

The first thing I would try and rule out is the scope. Have you tried a different one? I have had scopes that needed re-zeroing every time I shot. It wasn't as drastic as your example but still possible.

I don't know if it really helps but when screwing it back on I back it off just a little so it doesn't pull the barrel if the mating surfaces aren't perfectly machined.

I got my wildcat off the first shipment. If it hasn't been changed, just unscrew it.

DJ. I agree. Not from personal experience, but I seem to see a lot of reviews where round balls out shoot slugs in the larger calibers. It could just be lack of available selection or twist rate related. There are fewer slugs to choose from as caliber goes up

Just curious. After buying the gun, getting it modified, nothing wrong with it. Why are you selling it immediately after getting it back from the gunsmith? at quite a loss also....

I got a call back from AOA about the issue. I am not pleased with having to send the gun back, but I understand this happens on first run products. I am glad to hear that rather than just sending me an o-ring kit, the regulator will be milled so a bigger o-ring can be installed to help avoid...
