If you don't mind me asking... What sort of a deal did you get on that rifle? I got mine from midway as well back when you couldn't find them anywhere... But not a blem model. 

Why would you get hasseled? It's completely legal in all states. 

Silly question maybe.. but why not just go w/ the texan SS ? Im guessing higher velocities from the barrel length ?
